This page outlines the general shipping and delivery framework for export orders placed with VIN Marketing Private Limited. Specific lead times, Incoterms, and freight arrangements for any given order are confirmed in writing at the time of quotation.

1. Ports of origin

Shipments are typically routed via Chennai Port and Tuticorin (V.O. Chidambaranar) Port, with air freight available via Chennai International Airport for smaller or time-sensitive consignments.

2. Incoterms

Orders are shipped under Incoterms agreed per contract, commonly including EXW, FOB, CIF, or CFR (Incoterms® 2020 or the version then current). The applicable Incoterm determines which party arranges and bears the cost of main freight, insurance, and destination-port charges.

3. Lead times

Indicative production and shipping lead times are shared at the quotation stage and depend on product category, order volume, and customisation requirements. Suiting and shirting fabric orders, ready-made apparel, fragrance, and linen programmes each carry different production cycles, which will be confirmed against your specific order.

4. Documentation

For every export shipment, VIN Marketing prepares commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other documentation required under our active Importer Exporter Code (IEC: AALCV6104C) and GST registration (GSTIN: 33AALCV6104C1ZO), along with any additional documents required by the destination country (e.g. phytosanitary or textile-specific certificates, where applicable).

5. Customs duties and destination charges

Unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g. under a DDP arrangement), import duties, taxes, and destination-country customs clearance charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

6. Delays

While we plan shipments carefully, factors such as port congestion, customs processing, weather, or carrier scheduling can affect transit times. We will communicate any known material delays as soon as we become aware of them.
